Liquidity growth declines to 35.3%

TEHRAN – Iran’s liquidity growth has declined 5.2 percent in the sixth Iranian calendar month of Shahrivar (ended on September 22) compared to the previous year’s same month, Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Ehsan Khandouzi said on Tuesday.
According to Khandouzi, liquidity growth settled at 35.3 percent in the mentioned month, while the figure stood at 40.5 percent in the last year’s same month, IRIB reported.
The liquidity growth in Shahrivar has also decreased by 0.3 percent compared to the previous month, which shows the government's determination to control inflation, the minister said.
